Ferrosan Medical Devices develops and produces a portfolio of medical devices used in surgical care. Their portfolio consists of various hemostatic products to minimize bleeding challenges in surgery and electromechanical medical devices to perform breast biopsies. This is an international medical device organisation with products registered in more than 100 countries.
Your daily workplace will be at the headquarter in Søborg, Denmark. The company employs 250 professionals in Denmark and 100 in Szczecin, Poland.
A team that collaborates
You will join the Supply Chain department in Søborg, and a team of 16 colleagues being Compliance Partners, Supply Chain Specialists, Category Managers, Purchase Specialist and Planners. The team work in close collaboration in order to manage the internal and external partners. The team is built on trust in each other - not just professionally, but socially as well.
Project-oriented compliance - Securing compliance of suppliers, CMO’s and service providers
Securing compliance of suppliers, CMO’s and service providers, primarily in EU but also in USA and Israel will be your most important task (no significant travel activity is expected). By learning and understanding their processes and operations, you will monitor and ensure that changes and deviations are correctly handled. You will be in close contact with suppliers, CMO’s and service partners in a way that secures high-quality standards for Ferrosan Medical Devices products. This is a position that includes many stakeholders both internally, and externally towards suppliers and customers.
You will become a key player in the strategic team effort of selecting new suppliers and contract manufacturers. You will also be contributing in defining requirements for new systems and processes. In general, your tasks are project-oriented and completed in close collaboration with other colleagues across the organization.
More specifically, you:
- Optimize supplier, CMO and service providers compliance set-ups through cost-efficiency and quality parameters
- Lead and participate in compliance improvement activities
- Evaluate impact of change’s or deviation’s on our products and processes
- Propose and describe relevant tasks to handle the change or deviation
- Document and manage changes and deviations in the QMS system
- Participate in audits and in audit readiness
