Anonymous in the screening phase?

Unfortunately it's getting more common that companies get influenced by the candidate's name, age, gender, ethnicity etc. when hiring a new employee. But why should you be judged on something that's out of your control? Does your name or age say anything about how good you would be at this job? No, right?

In Talent Attract we believe that an application process should be equal for everyone. We want the companies to aknknowledge that there are many other factors than age and gender to tell if a candidate is right for the job or not.

That's why we made it possible as a candidate to choose if you want to be anonymous during the screening in the recruitment process.

What does that mean?

If you choose to be anonymous during the screening phase it means that the company can't access your personal information (name, age, gender etc.) before they've called you in for an interview (by phone or physically). You will appear as a number with which the company can identify you during the process.

The companies can see all your qualifications and will have to measure your match based on these.

NB! If you choose to be anonymous in the screening, there's no reason to put your personal information in your CV and application.

IMPORTANT

The companies also have the opportunity to make all their applicants anonymous in the screening phase. This can be chosen when they create their job posting. As an applicant you can see in the posting if the company chose to make the applicants anonymous.
